How to Register Your Business for GST in India in Just a Few Simple Steps

Once your email and mobile number are verified, you will be directed to a page where you need to fill in your business details such as the legal name of your business, the state in which your business is located, and the type of business you are running.

Step 5: Upload the Required Documents

After filling in your business details, you will need to upload the required documents such as your PAN card, proof of address, and bank account details. Make sure that the documents are in the prescribed format and size.

Step 6: Submit the Application

Once you have uploaded all the required documents, review your application and click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the registration process. You will receive an Application Reference Number (ARN) on your registered email and mobile number.

Step 7: Wait for the GST Certificate

After submitting your application, wait for the GST certificate to be issued. It usually takes 2-6 working days for the GST certificate to be issued. Once you receive the certificate, you can start charging GST on your supplies.
